NEW YORK – Tekashi 6ix9ine’s lawyer has released a statement explaining that his client has become a victim of his own created gangster image following his arrest last Sunday.

The lawyer of Tekashi 6ix9ine, Lance Lazzaro, made a statement last Wednesday claiming that his client is victimized by his enterprise.

The colorful rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez, reflected a street gang image to promote his music. The drama arose when Tekashi69 met members of Nine Trey Bloods during a 2017 concert and hired them for management and security, who were arrested last Sunday for racketeering charges. When Hernandez found out that his team was stealing from him, he fired his entire team. This appeared six days ago on his Instagram account.

Tekashi69’s Lawyer Lance Lazzaro said the following: “Daniel Hernandez is completely innocent of all charges being brought against him … An entertainer who portrays a gangster image to promote his music does not make him a member of a gang.”

After Tekashi 6ix9ine appeared on Power 105’s New York radio station The Breakfast Club where he explained why he fired his team, his life was at risk.

6ix9ine’s former team members had been wiretapping and found out that they wanted to violate the rapper. On Saturday, a protective custody was offered, which the rapper rejected and got arrested a day after at a casino in Connecticut.

“Threats were then made against his life which resulted in this case being brought immediately,” says Lazzaro.

15 hours ago a message appeared on Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Instagram account and it states: “Due to circumstances beyond our control we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “DUMMY BOY” until further notice .”
