Mainstream media attacked by nearly 200 TV channels

Newsreaders, nearly 200 US television stations, have read the same message, in which they attack the mainstream media. The stations are owned by the same conservative media group, the Sinclair Broadcast Group.

“Sharing unilaterally or false news is all too common on social media,” he said. “Even more alarming is that these same media publish fake news without checking the facts.”

The media group has in the United States the largest network of local television and spread exactly the same message throughout all channels.


The newscasters of the nearly 200 stations pulled hard on the mainstream media and their fake news and proclaimed that “biased journalism is a threat to democracy.”

“We are very proud of the quality of journalism that our station produces,” the message began. “But we are concerned about the disturbing trend of irresponsible, unilateral policies that rages in our country.”

Own agenda

The message is lashing out at members of the media who use their platform to push their own agenda to determine what people think.
